A chandelier is a suspended light with branches for several bulbs or candles. This light fixture is designed to be mounted on ceilings or walls. Chandeliers are often decorative and usually use incandescent light bulbs. Now a days, new designs also use fluorescent lamps and LEDs.

  • Determine the right size/scale of the chandelier. The chandelier diameter is determined by first measuring the length and width of the room in feet and then taking the sum in inches for the diameter of the chandelier.

  • Decide what kind of light do you want from a chandelier. Should it be soft or glary?
  • Also decide on the direction of light- upward or downward.
  • Another factor to consider for a chandelier is the dimming feature of the bulbs.
  • Pick a style for chandelier that matches the room.

What are Chandelier Lights Colours?

The outer part of the Chandelier Lighting comes in different materials and colours. The materials could be metallic, wooden or glass and depending on the material the colour varies. As for the light emitted from a chandelier lighting, it depends on the bulb used. If incandescent bulbs are used they will give out a warm yellowish light. CFLs give a natural white light.
