For task lighting, such as bedside reading lamps, a slightly cooler temperature of 3000K might be better. Ultimately, the best colour temperature for a bedroom is subjective and depends on personal preference.

What types of lighting should I consider for my bedroom?

There are several types of lighting you can use in your bedroom, including ceiling lights - either pendant, flush or semi-flush - wall lights, bedside lamps and even fairy lights, each playing its own role in creating a cohesive and functional lighting scheme.

How bright should a bedroom light be?
