E27 LED bulbs are the Edison screw bulbs most commonly used for lighting. They come from old incandescent bulbs but unlike old ones E27 LED Bulbs save energy. 

What does E27 mean? 

The E in the E27 stands for the Edison screw series such LED bulbs belong to. These are the Edison screw bulbs with a diameter of 27 mm hence they are called E27 LED Bulbs. You can fit different shaped bulbs, including vintage bulbs, or LED filament bulbs as long as they have the same base size. So do not forget to check the size of the base at your home.

Is E27 a standard bulb size?

E27 is a standard base size, however, different sized bulbs with varying diameters of the light bulb can be fitted as long as the size of the base is 27mm. What wattage is the E27 LED bulb?

The wattage of the LED bulbs varies from 4W, 5W, 6W, 7W, 9W, 10W, 12W, and 15W. Since E27 LED Bulbs consume so little energy wattage is only a question of lumens. You can get the same level of lighting a traditional 100W incandescent bulb offers with a 12W E27 LED Bulb. Light colours of E27 LED bulbs

The E27 LED bulb comes in Cool White (4000-5000K),  Warm White (2700-3500K) and Amber (2000-2500K) and RGB colours.  The Edison light bulbs with amber-coloured diffusers are also called vintage E27 LED bulbs.
