To help you choose the right product, we’ve answered some of the most common questions our customers ask:
What are LED floodlights used for?
LED floodlights are typically used for security lighting, illuminating large outdoor areas or highlighting architectural features. They can also be used in warehouses, garages or workshops. Our range of LED floodlights is highly efficient and cost-effective.
What does IP65 mean?
IP ratings are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc.) and moisture. An IP65 rating means the product and casing offer complete protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. You’ll often find this rating or higher on outdoor lighting products.
What's the difference between LED floodlights with and without PIR motion sensors?
An LED floodlight with a PIR motion sensor will only come on when it detects motion. Without a sensor, the floodlight has to be operated manually, but it will still use far less energy than a traditional halogen floodlight, saving you money and reducing your environmental impact.
